E-Z Bathe
Enjoy the relaxation of a tub bath in the bed. Deflated tub can be rolled under an individual, then inflated using the wet-dry vacuum. Tub inflates to 80'' long, 32'' wide, 10'' deep to fit individual up to 6'2'', and has an inflatable pillow for added comfort. The hand held shower connects to any tap up to 25' away. The Muff Vest, designed by the spouse of a stroke survivor, features a muff pocket and 2 lower patch pockets. The front horizontal muff pocket is opened on both ends, allowing the wearer to reach through the pocket to place their impaired arm in the support. The muff pocket protects and supports the arm. Casbar
The Casbar makes most any wheelchair easier to push and handle. The ergonomically designed metal bar slides over the handgrips on a wheelchair and is easily attached or removed using the thumbscrews. The unique design allows a caregiver to push a wheelchair with only one hand, better positions the caregiver’s arm to reduce wrist and arm fatigue, and provides increased control.

What makes these PinCare GelTM mattresses special?
As a physical therapist, my primary goal is to use clinical skills to restore a person’s movement that has been lost due to disease processes such as arthritis. If mobility cannot be restored, and the person is either bed bound or wheelchair bound, then my goal is to prevent skin breakdown and pressure sores. Over the past years, I have seen great developments in materials used for pressure reduction. First, foams in a variety of densities, with various cutout shapes or hatching were used. These foams were not very durable, and had to be replaced frequently, became easily soiled, and were very difficult to clean. If a cover was used, such as vinyl, then the pressure reducing effectiveness of the foam was decreased. Cushions or mattresses, in large squares or tubes and filled with water, air, or gels were also developed. The gel and water filled cushions were quite heavy, and the pressure reduction was dependent upon using just the right amount of air, water or gel. The water and gel also shifted inside the cushion, leaving flat areas without any medium to reduce pressure. The layer of air, water or gel also must be well supported, or it just sags and does not provide any pressure reduction. Different combinations of foams and gels have also been used, as well as the development of Swedish and Visco foams. These new foams have been used in the healthcare field for several years. Upon my initial use of these specialty forms, they worked fairly well. However, over periods of extended use, I found that they lost their resiliency, were not very durable, became compressed and therefore did not continue to provide effective pressure reduction. I also found these specialty foams to be very expensive. From my experiences, I found that combing a gel layer over a supportive base provided durable, effective pressure reduction, greater comfort to the patient, at a reasonable cost. I am very excited to offer PinCare Gel Mattress, and its unique construction. The manufacture has carefully chosen high quality materials, and thoughtfully combined them for effective pressure reduction. When reclining on the PinCare GelTM Mattress, a person feels the gentle support of the gel and the softness of the foam topper and damask cover. The gel layer is appropriately supported on the foam base. Extensive testing has demonstrated the durability of the foam to provide effective pressure reduction for extended periods of use. The manufacture has also successfully distributed the PinCare Gel™ Mattress with the Staph Check Fusion Cover to several local hospitals with excellent results.
