- Jumbo Rod Bender
Just mount the 4" x 6" x 1" thick base in your bench vice and you're ready to bend solid round stock up to 3/8", and square up to 1/2". The stout 7/8" diameter 16" long handle makes bending easy. The compact bender includes a 4" x 6" x 1" thick base to mount in your bench vice, adapters to produce 3/8", 3/4", 2", 3", and 4" radius bends, a 7/8" diameter 16" long handle and complete instructions. Bends up to 1/2" square stock and 3/8" solid round.
Mount the base plate in your vice (requires minimum opening of 3 1/4"). Put the material to be bent between the two pins. Place the die of choice over the longest pin and then slide the handle over the same pin. Make sure the pin on the handle is behind the material to be bent. Pull the handle toward you stopping at the desired angle. Complex angles can be achieved by repositioning the rod after each bend and repeating the above steps.
